� � � � Lena Sampson was born December 1, 1894 in London Mills, the daughter of William O. and Mae E. Phillipi. A lifelong resident of London Mills, she was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church (which became the United Methodist Church), World War Mothers, Royal Neighbors, and the Senior Citizens.
